UA CareerTrack - About the Vendor
After completion of the Request for Proposal (RFP) process that included review and input from several campus representatives, the University of Arizona selected PeopleAdmin for development of the UA's first on-line applicant and employment system.
PeopleAdmin specializes in designing software systems that are fully customized for higher education and government agencies. The company spent 18 months conducting site visits with over 150 university and government employment offices to learn what makes the higher education and public sector recruitment processes different from the corporate arena.
They learned that many of the solutions commonly used in the corporate sector were not a good fit due to the unique recruitment process used in the public sector, colleges, universities and government agencies.
Using the research and input from higher education institutions, PeopleAdmin began development of its employment system in July 2001 and went live with its first clients in early 2002. PeopleAdmin has experienced dramatic growth as organizations realize that the company has developed a proven system that is fully customized for higher education and government agencies, is delivered with minimal IT involvement, and maintained at costs must less than current manual paper processes.
