Important information to consider prior to selecting and enrolling in your benefit plans:

  • Medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and Flexible Spending Account coverage will be effective the 1st of the month after you submit your properly completed enrollment application to Human Resources.
  • Employees have 31 days from date of hire (or date of new benefits-eligibility), to enroll in the voluntary benefit plans.
  • Medical, Dental, Vision, and a portion of Supplemental Life Insurance premiums are taken on a pre-tax basis which lowers taxable income.
  • Pre-tax elections may not be changed except during the annual open enrollment period or within 31 days of a qualified Life Event change.
