Instructional and Research Support
The Research Computing Support Group consists of staff with extensive training and experience in the physical, biological, and behavioral sciences. They provide consulting services to faculty, staff, and graduate students in areas that include graphics and scientific visualization, statistical analysis, scientific computing, and workstation support.
Each year the University Teaching Center facilitates a two-day orientation designed to acquaint new faculty with the instructional resources available on campus. The 2002 orientation will be held on Tuesday, August 13 from 10:00am-5:00pm and on Wednesday, August 14 from 9:00am-noon in the Integrated Learning Center (ILC) Room 137. Following the session on Tuesday, August 13, President Peter Likins and the Presidential Council will host a reception for all new faculty at Flandrau Science Center.
The Research Support Office at The University of Arizona's goal is to provide timely information about research funding.
