Emergency Leave - Appointed Personnel
Definition
Emergency Leave is an administrative leave granted by the President of the University or the President's designee to provide paid time off in the event of natural disasters or other circumstances which may jeopardize the employee's health or safety.
Eligibility
- Employees who are benefits eligible.
Procedure
- Employees must refer to the department business office representative or direct supervisor for specific procedures.
- No forms are required.

- This leave has no impact on the employee's benefits.
