What's the 'UA NetID'?

Your UA NetID is your personal identifier that allows you to access a variety of on-line University services, including site-licensed software, computer and E-mail accounts, computer labs and Employee Link. All University of Arizona employees are strongly encouraged to establish a UA NetID.

The UA NetID verifies your identity to ensure the privacy of your personal information and restrict the use of resources to those for whom they are intended. The UA NetID also consolidates various UA online services, replacing several unique identifiers with a common one.

Create your UA NetID…it's as easy as 1, 2, 3!

  1. Have the following information ready: your Employee ID number, your Cat Card number, and your date of birth.
  2. Go to the University's NetID website at: http://netid.arizona.edu and click on Create UA NetID
  3. Click through the screens, providing basic information as requested.

In just a minute or two, your UA NetID will be established.

Employee Link is a password protected service that allows you to access your personal and employment information at The University of Arizona. Your UA NetID gives you access to the secure Employee Link website at http://emplink.arizona.edu.Within Employee Link, you can view your current insurance coverage, update your home address, check your vacation and sick balances, and print your paycheck stubs. No one else will have access to the personal information you view in the system. Future service enhancements will require you to use the Employee Link system, so you are urged to become familiar with the system as soon as possible.
