Beginning with the 2007-2008 academic year, the number of pay periods for individuals on academic contracts and academic work schedules will be reduced from 22 to 20. This change is being made to coordinate pay dates with contract dates, reduce conflicts with supplemental compensation funded by sponsored projects, and ensure the timely completion of federally required employment forms.
