Classified Staff Re-Grading Project 07-08
In the continuing effort to increase the market competitiveness of the Classified Staff Salary System, the University will re-grade 244 of the 520 active Classified Staff job titles concurrent with the FY 07-08 salary adjustment program. The Classified Staff General Adjustment and re-grading will be implemented retroactively to the July 1, 2007 effective date. The new grades must be used for all new hires and employment actions beginning July 1, 2007.
Employees on the Payroll as of June 30, 2007
The 3.25% General Adjustment is applied first. It is expected that few employees (less than 100) will require an additional increase to bring their salary to the minimum of the new pay grade. However, in cases in which the General Adjustment is insufficient to bring a state-funded employee's salary to the minimum of the new range, additional funds will be allocated centrally as required.
Departments with affected non-state funded positions that require an increase to reach the minimum of the new pay grade will have until June 30, 2008 to fund the amount required.

Additional information will be added to the web site as it becomes available.
