Changes to the Human Resources Web Site - September 2008

NEW FEATURES

We have updated the HR web site with lots of new features that we hope will improve your online experience!  Here are some highlights:

• Main Menu Bar
  Beneath the photo at the top of each HR web page you will see a horizontal menu bar with links to "Benefits", "Compensation", "Employment", "Forms", and "Policies". This menu provides links to HR resources by category. If you don't know exactly what you're looking for but have a general idea, this menu is for you!




The Main Menu Bar is located under the campus photos near the top of each HR web page.

• "Who Are You?" Main Menu
  In the center of the new HR homepage you will see a menu with the headings "Prospective Employees", "Current Employees", "Managers and Supervisors", and "Transitioning Employees". Resources within this menu are organized according to your relationship with The University and UA Human Resources.

• New Site-wide Search

In the upper-right corner of the web site you will find a link to our new and improved HR search engine.



"Search HR" is located in the upper-right corner of each page within the HR web site.

• Updated HR Contact Information

We have reorganized the HR Contact Information Pages. Browse contact information "By Name", "By Unit", or find out who to call to get assistance with a given question/situation.

• RSS News Feed
  HR News updates are now available as an RSS feed. Click the "Subscribe to HR News" to get the latest HR announcements in your favorite RSS aggregator, and on your schedule.
